Rowland told HollywoodLife.com that she doesn't find exercise boring or tenuous. "I like working out," she said. "I genuinely love working out. I love the way I feel when I'm working out. I love the fact that I'm taking the time to pour back into myself. Workouts for me are a time for [myself] and I get to pour back into myself and I love that."

Rowland told Health.com that Pilates became her go-to workout after having a baby. "I love Pilates for core strength and I have the best teacher," she says. "For keeping my abs together, basically after I had my son it was super tough on my body, I definitely do Pilates. It just keeps the core tight, brings the abs in, the breathing, it's just fantastic."

Rowland is all about body positivity, and says that she tries to not compare herself to others. "I stay body positive by taking care of my body and just being comfortable with the body that God gave me and that continues to evolve," she told Health.com. "How I became comfortable with my body is understanding that no one looks like me. I kept comparing myself to so many other women who didn't look like me, and I had to embrace me and all my flaws."

Rowland is so passionate about fitness, she actually released her own workout DVD. It is called Sexy Abs Cardio Sculpt, and was a collaboration between the singer and her trainer, Jeanette Jenkins. The DVD gives people a look at Rowland's workouts, like her abs and arm workouts. "I did this whole workout for an hour five days a week to prepare," Rowland told People. "I'm thinking to myself, 'What the hell was I thinking?' It is intense while you're doing it. But when you're done you feel incredible."

In a video posted to her Instagram advertising her Fabletics line, Rowland is seen strength training. She is shown doing squats with a large circular weight surrounding her legs. Rowland captioned the video "Keep your muscles strong and your outfit game stronger."

Rowland told Body and Soul that her diet is based on her blood type. "Right now I'm eating for my blood type, which means lots of vegetables and fish," she explained. However, Rowland does put some room in her diet for indulgence. "I'm a southern girl, so sometimes I treat myself to burgers and bacon."

Rowland revealed in Body and Soul that she, like many other celebrities, follow the "80/20" rule when it comes to diet and wellness. "Eighty percent of the time I eat the things my body needs, and 20 percent of the time it's wine or chocolate," she says.
